Unidentified Aircraft with Names #16
NA16 #24 LONGHORN. A couple of clues first: the pitot braces point to a B-24J, and the building behind is at Consolidated Fort Worth. The 'kink' in the paint join is indicative of the Fort Worth plant, Fort Worth is known as 'Cowtown' and the Texas Longhorn is one of the most enduring symbols of the Old West. Probably a product of the Fort Worth PR department.
