More shot up, shot down and crashed B-24s whose stories can't be told until we have an ident
BB2#1 It's a 15AF B-24....and of one of the units which used RCNs rather than RCLs, but that's as far as I've got so far.
BB2#2 Much as this looks like the RAF Liberator VIII (KK320) which was hit from above by a 'friendly' bomb, this is not that aircraft. The B-24 behind suggests that it is a 15AF aircraft and the style suggests 455BG
BB2#3 Identified as #23 Kirchdorf; appears to be a 15AF forced landing
BB2#4 454BG number style - serial most likely in the 44-40xxx or 44-41xxx ranges.
BB2#5 The anti-glare panel determines this to be a late B-24H or J-DT
BB2#6 In trouble
BB2#8 An artist's impression of a diching; the details appear to be imaginary
BB2#9 Being salvaged - 44-41xxx
BB2#12 A common fate for the B-24 in soft ground or an undercarriage collapse
