Unidentified Aircraft with Names #13
N13 #17b JACKASS MAIL, an early B-24D-CO (note position of the pitot), believed to have been taken in the Middle East. Note also that there is no upper turret an the fairing over the lower part of the greenhouse. The pilot is known to have been with Ferrying Command, but despite these clues, no definitive ideas here except that it is unlikely to be a combat machine.
